We offer two levels of design depending on your requirements.

WHERE DO WE START?

YOU.

To help keep our design service affordable, we require as much information from you outlining your expectations and ideas in mind, to make sure we get it right.

You must already have a logo and provide basic information.  You can read more about our design services or please don’t hesitate to contact us for info on our Logo & Identity packages.

For faster processing and turnaround, we request you supply the following:

BRIEF

  • A description of what you require, and the focus of the printed material.
  • What will it be used for and what is the message you are trying to convey?
  • Who are your competitors
  • What are your company’s or products unique selling points?
  • Who is your target audience?
  • Any important or absolute text or elements to the design?


CONTENTS

  • Your Logo (in a vector file format – eps or pdf)
  • All text and Content
  • Graphics and Images in high-resolution (300dpi for best results). We do not recommend google for images, as they maybe subject to copyright or a majority will be low-resolution. We suggest stock photography websites such as depositphotos or pexels.
  • Any examples that may help us or requirements such as preferred colours or fonts
  • If you have a rough design in mind, a quick sketch or layout will help

WE.

We endeavour to ensure that your project runs seamlessly from first concept to final delivery and ready for print.  Upon ordering on the product page, you will have a choice of what level of design service you need.

BASIC

This option is if you prefer or require simple and clean graphics consisting of:

    • Your Logo
    • Essential Contact Details (contact number, website, email)
    • Solid Colour Backgrounds
    • Placement of 1-2 supplied images

CREATIVE

For when you want to create something more memorable, consisting of:

      • Your Logo
      • Essential Contact Details (contact number, website, email, etc.)
      • Colour Background
      • Placement of 3+ supplied images
      • Basic image cropping and/or editing
      • Stock image sourcing, if required (1 image)
      • Creative Layout design

The Design Process

Whatever design level you choose, both go through the same creative process.

Our designers will create between 2 or 3 design concepts, based on your design brief.  It is important you provide as much information with your ideas and expectations to make sure we get it right. 

Depending on the product, concepts usually take up to 3 working days upon receiving all information (with the exception of express artwork)

We allow for up to 3 rounds of revisions, with minor revisions. Usually this involves refinement and tweaking to colours, fonts and slight layout or combining bits and pieces of the concepts together.

However, if additional revisions, major changes, or a new concept is required additional costs will apply.

For each round of revisions we will create a soft copy PDF proof for your review/approval. Whilst every care is taken in the preparation of final artwork, it is essential that the proof be checked thoroughly.

We do not run spell checks as our main focus is ensuring artwork files are suitable for commercial print. Double check for any spelling errors, punctuation, grammar, numbers, omitted information, proportions, layout & design. We will not held liable for any errors contained in the final product after the final proof has been approved

Upon approving the artwork, leave it to us do the rest! We will ensure that your final artwork is correctly prepared for print including bleed, safety margins and colour profiles amongst others.
